Mi batería

Probably you've read or heard about Orlando and Cecilia my neighbors and their adorable son Gabriel. Well, now you can see how cute he is for yourself. He got a new drumset (which I learned the word for in Spanish - batería) for Christmas. Now you will know why I am always talk about his insane cuteness. I mean really.

Gabrielito y su batería nueva - Gabriel and his new drumset!!

False start ... cute laugh.

What a rockstar. Check out his final bow.

Also I just got news that I have a placement for my internship this summer in Costa Rica working in a kindergarten for deaf children. yyyyyyyyyyyyyiiiiiiiiiiiiippppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My ticket has officially been purchased as of yesterday so there's no turning back now ... not that I was planning on turning back ... but I should remind my professors of that.

Dude. This is funny, but Lauren almost got me a drumkit for Christmas. I keep listening to Phil Collins and pretending I'm playing air drums, so she really wanted to do it. Sadly, real drums cost more than a puppy, so I got a puppy.

Costa Rica! Exciting news! I'm still waiting to hear back where Lauren and I will be headed this fall.
