The Big Day of Love

So that favorite February holiday is fast approaching. This Día de San Valentín will be mildly distinct due to the fact that I apparently have a "Valentine" on Valentine's Day for the first time since ... oh... about 10th grade. I'm pretty glad about it and bought lots of cheesy items like lacy doilies and pink tissue paper and sparkly heart shaped confetti. But no worries, I haven't gone completely soft yet. I'm still celebrating The Big Day by babysitting and then probably meeting my fellow classmates out to enjoy their company. Singles Awareness Day is not dead yet, nor will it ever be ... continue to thrive satisfied single people!!
I don't think Thomas is a huge fan of Valentine's Day either so it will be interesting to see how we mesh our Valentine's Day theories ... I'm actually still not sure he knows it's coming hahaha!

Mainly I am concerned about the state of Valentine's Day this year. I will tell you why. I have not heard Martina McBride's extremely outlandishly deathly cheesy song "Valentine" one single time on the radio yet! This, my friends, is alarming! And to be honest, I haven't really heard that many cheesy love songs - apart from the ones that are just popular right now and get played over and over. Truly this has dampened my Valentine spirit.

I have searched for an mp3 track to load to the ol' blog of Outkast's "Happy Valentine's Day" which I think should start being that song that gets overplayed around Valentine's Day but to no avail so you should just look it up yourself because it's pretty entertaining.
